  Me and my boyfriend came to Koh Tao to do different diving courses (we are in different levels). I did the open water (the first one). I am a super... read more nervous person and despite my willingness to do the course, I was a little anxious about it. I want to start saying that my instructor, Alain Tourret, made this experience simply AWESOME AND MAGICAL! He is a very calmed and experienced guy and transmits knowledge in a very clear and easy way. He is chilled and fun but always very strict with exercises and safety measures. He is an exceptional guide, and I think I couldn’t have done it with anyone else better than him! I felt super comfortable, reassured and safe with him and even in a couple of moments when fear and anxiety was taking control of me underwater, he calmed me down and I was able to move on and finish the exercise. That said, the rest of the experience from start to finish was awesome and so so magical! The Pimp my Dive staff is super cool and fun! Owners, dive masters and instructors are very friendly, capable and supportive. They speak multiple languages and French as native language so it is very helpful for foreigners and the French people. They are very rigorous and impecable with their work and they give personalized attention to students by never doing more than 2 students per instructor at the same time. The boat is AMAZING! Is very big which makes it easy to get equipped and hang on the boat while you are not in the water. the boat is always clean, organized and super comfortable (they even have a chilling rooftop) and ridiculously well equipped: they have the tank filling station, showers, toilets, equipment racks, rooftop, tables and benches and a snaking station with fresh water, tea, snacks and fresh fruit! And last but not least, the diving locationsPARADISE! very well selected for the different exercises at different depths, always surrounded by coral reefs with thousands of different colorful fishes, corals and marine life to make the learning experience also entertaining and enjoyable! Super recommended place to do the open water or any other PADI level, a batem or fun dive! I hope to dive once again soon with the Pimp my Dive team! ️️

  I dived with Aude and Olivier this weekend. I can't thank them enough for how accommodating and nice they were. We had a lot of beginners in our group and... read more even a non swimmer. They dealt with the situation like the pros they are, making sure everyone felt safe, confortable and confident before going into the water and once in the water. My friends had the best time and all want to pass their open water now!

We wanted to do different things and ended up with a day tailored to our specific needs. Think of prioritizing a smaller scuba club like pimp my dive if you want a personalized approach instead of a big shop where you'll just be one more tourist in the mass.

Knowledgeable, funny, safe, fluent in English and French, I will definitely dive with them again whenever I get back to koh Tao.

  I have went there to get my first open water exam, I have heard that Koh Tao was an amazing place to start the dive. Which it was!!!! The first... read more two days I was studying about the theory (you can do it in one day but I felt it would be a bit to rough) anyways I finished and started my dives the next day! The first dive was about if I can do them all correctly so not much to see. However the other four were perfect I really like the buoyancy course. We were able to pass through statues and a cave!!!! But that was not the best part... The last one was!!!!!! We went to the best diving spot where I ever went!!!! In Chumphon Pinacal we saw five huge grouper, but like huge!!!!
If you don’t like that place then why dive!

They operate from Mae Haad close to the main Pier and use some of the most comfortable boats available on the island!
Their equipment is spotless and so is their shop which shows their attention for detail.
I would highly recommend Pimp My Dive if you are a beginner looking for a comfortable and close to tailor made classes or if you are a seasoned diver and are looking for some serious and professional, yet fun people to guide you on the best dive sites around Koh Tao!   We arrived in Koh Toa very apprehensive about diving. We had heard it was the best place to do it first time due to price and ease. A travel company... read more had recommended Pimp My Dive to us and we did not regret our decision to go with this recommendation one bit. The three of us were all very nervous, but even after our first conversation with Oliver and Aude they put us right at ease. The diving is conducted in small groups so you never feel out of your depth. They even provided us with a short GoPro video to remember our time. We could not recommend them enough!

  We were a group of 5 with two 8 year old kids and three adults with diverse diving experience (2 with Advanced PADIs and one Open Water who hadn’t dived... read more in years).
Aude and Olivier arranged a great day that suited everyone. We went to Mango Bay and then
Japanese Gardens. The kids did the Bubble Maker discovery program and had a blast ( they even followed a turtle for a while !). It was one instructor per kid, 2m deep and Aude and Olivier are so nice and professional that we felt in total confidence leaving the kids to their dives while we took ours. Having not dived since I passed my PADI, I was a bit nervous at first, but Aude was great. We had her just for the three of us, and after her brief and a few review exercises in the water, I was ready to enjoy a beautiful trip underwater.
Go there, you won’t regret it !

  I joined Pimp My Dive on August 12 ,2019... for one day scuba trip to 3 dive sites[one is Chumporn pinnacle]. It's one of my best diving... read more trips in Koh Tao area--Mr. Olivier[our dive leader] is so nice ...begin with good brief and good take care until the end of the dive.
Boat is also good...crew too.
We come only three persons ..it's small group compare to another dive shop in Koh Tao.
